Hi, I’m Gautam.

During the day, I build software solutions, and in the evenings, I (sometimes) tell jokes.

I am a programmer, author, public speaker, hobbyist DJ, traveler, and a big-time coffee enthusiast. Recently, I have started doing a bit of stand-up comedy.

Originally from India, I currently live in Berlin, Germany. In my current job, I am a Solutions Architect focussing on building decentralized solutions using Polkadot. Prior to this, I worked on building IoT solutions at Microsoft.

I blog about Distributed & Decentralized Systems, Internet of Things, Cloud, and Product Management. Blogging helps me structure my thoughts.

I have a podcast - Block Shots - Blockchain in 5 minutes! where I explain Blockchain concepts in five-minute episodes.

I have also co-authored a book on Blockchain fundamentals - Beginning Blockchain.
